Maintenance and use instructions

Instructions for maintenance and use of Carbon Steel cookware:

1. Preparing the dish for cooking:

√ Before first use, wash the bowl thoroughly in hot water with dishwashing detergent, rinse and dry.
√ Heat the pot over medium heat until it reaches the optimal cooking temperature — this is an essential step.
√ Add a little fat (oil, butter or whatever you prefer).
√ Use a napkin or brush to evenly distribute the fat over the entire surface of the pan.
√ Remove excess fat and then cook something delicious and healthy!
√ Grease the pan with fat before each cooking.

2. Cleaning the vessel
√ After cooking, clean the pot with warm water, detergent and then leave it to dry or wipe it with a napkin.
√ For stubborn food residue, soak the pan in warm water for about 30 minutes before cleaning. IMPORTANT: The pan should not be left with water in it for a long time.
√ The material is rust-resistant. However, if you forget the water bowl in it for too long, small rust spots may appear. These are easily cleaned using water and vinegar and a little oil, then the bowl is as good as new.
