We recommend you try the recipe below using Pure light cast iron pan .
INGREDIENTS:
- 7 thin pie sheets (for the small pan)
- 100 g of butter
- Chocolate pieces (any type)
- 2 eggs
- 50-75 g of sugar (depending on how sweet you prefer it)
- 500 ml of milk
- spices to taste
- powdered sugar for serving
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
The oven heats up. Grease the pie sheets, one at a time, with melted butter and sprinkle the chocolate pieces. Fan-fold each sheet, roll the fan into a snail shape and place each snail in the buttered pan. Place in the oven to brown the sheets (15-20 min).
Meanwhile, mix the beaten eggs, sugar and milk in a bowl. Various spices are added to taste: vanilla, lemon peel, etc. For a more festive touch, a little Baileys liqueur or something similar can be added. 😊
When the sheets in the oven are lightly browned, add the liquid mixture. Put it in the oven for another 15-20 min.
It is served dusted with sugar.
If you have a 24cm or 28cm pan, you can increase the quantities "by eye". The important thing is that when you pour the liquid composition, it partially covers all the browned snails. If you find that you have too little liquid, after pouring into the pan, you can adjust by adding a little milk, directly on top of the browned snails!
Bon appetit!
